This is my favorite shot from the day. My friend and fellow photographer Zoe came to me with a great idea. She thought it would be cool if we purchased disposable cameras and went on a photowalk. We each had 27 shots to play with. It did not take long to get through the film, finding a Walgreens shortly after to get it developed. We impatiently waited four hours for the prints, I electing to go with a CD only. We shoot digital so it is not everyday that I take 27 shots and call it in. I haven't used a disposable camera in year or two. It fit perfectly in my hand and I felt more confident about shooting people than when I have my larger than fifty disposable cameras, Nikon D90. I almost felt like they looked and wondered what the hell was I pointing at them. By the time they realized I had already taken my shot. Honestly it is like they care less when the camera is smaller. Some noticed, some did not. Just a normal day of street shooting I guess.
We are going to start a site dedicated to our disposable camera love in a few days. Clear up some bookmark space for Disposable Us.
